What forms of payment do you accept?
INTERACT, VISA, Mastercard, JBC, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, and of course, cash! All forms of payment are subject to HST.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We’ve partnered with several lenders to help you find the perfect fit. Our financing options include Klarna, Affirm, and doFinance.​

What is your booking policy?
At MELAURIA, we strive to be as accommodating as possible while ensuring fairness for all clients. Please review our booking policy below. Thank you for your understanding!

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit. If you receive a deposit confirmation link, please confirm and pay within one hour, as appointments are not held without a deposit. You are allowed one (1) complimentary reschedule if you notify us at least 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. Any additional reschedules or rescheduling with less than 72 hours' notice will result in the deposit being forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook. If you cancel without rescheduling, your deposit will be forfeited. For cancellations made before the 72-hour cut-off, clients are responsible for any design or art setup fees incurred by the artist, minus the deposit. If you are running late, please inform us as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will result in the appointment being canceled and treated as a no-show. No-shows will be charged 50% of the appointment fee. If there is no payment method or credit on file, this fee will need to be settled before booking future appointments. Pre-paid gift vouchers will be added as a credit to your account, and all booking policies apply. Late reschedule fees are waived in the event of inclement weather. For tattoo appointments requiring custom designs, an additional deposit may be required for the art fee based on the artist’s estimated work. Cancellation or reschedule fees are separate from design fees. MELAURIA Beauty offers free consultations valued at $50; however, no-shows for consultations will incur the full $50 no-show fee, which must be paid before rescheduling or booking another appointment. The policies listed above override any other policies presented on affiliate or third-party sites.
I received a bunch of forms, do I have to fill them out now?
It is highly recommended that you fill our your forms prior to your appointment. That way if you have any questions or concerns you can ask ahead of time, as well as rule out any issues that would result in having to reschedule your appointment and losing your deposit (ie: health concerns, too close to vacation or other conflicting treatments)!

Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, MELAURIA Beauty is an 18+ studio. ID is required. We may make exceptions in some cases for 16+ with signed parental consent, as long as we deem the service beneficial to the minor and ethical. (ie: brows for a minor suffering a medical condition causing hair loss, small tattoos which are non-offensive/non-controversial).
Are you certified and safe?

Yes. All MELAURIA Beauty technicians/artists hold certifications and have been fully trained through several accredited institutions for all services they provide. Furthermore, all technicians/artists are certified in Bloodborne Pathegons (renewed annually). MELAURIA Beauty is a Public Health Ontario approved business.
